Dr. Ballas’s fee is $250 for a 45-minute session. Dr. Ballas does not accept insurance and is considered an “out-of-network” provider. Many insurance plans offer out-of-network benefits typically covering 50%-80% of the session fee. If you want to use your out-of-network benefits, Dr. Ballas can provide you with receipts known as “Superbills” on a routine basis.

Therapy typically starts with weekly sessions to create momentum and build skills. As clients progress, sessions may become less frequent, such as bi-weekly or monthly, depending on their needs.

Confidentiality in Therapy
Therapy is fully confidential, except in specific situations required by law, such as when there is a risk of harm to oneself or others, or in cases of suspected abuse or neglect of vulnerable individuals. In some cases, a written release is needed if the client wants their information shared with other professionals.
